Title: Data Visualization in Audio and Music Computing
Speakers: Prof. Dr. Jörn Loviscach, University of Applied Sciences Bielefeld, and Sebastian Heise, University of Applied Sciences Bremen
Think of the score of a symphony or the waveform displayed by an oscilloscope: Visualizations have been used for ages to aid in generating, finding, adjusting, and mixing sounds, and in composing or finding music. Nowadays, computer graphics, signal processing, and machine learning enable us to create far superior visualizations that reveal hidden relations between thousands of sounds or music files and provide interactive user interfaces. In this talk, we demonstrate our current work on content-based retrieval methods for sound effects and music files, on the composition of interactive game music, on the fusion of MIDI and audio editing, and on other ways of harnessing the power of GPUs.Diese Grafiken werden nur in der Druckvorschau verwendet:
